Job summary

Bardstown, KY: Weyland Ventures Hospitality seeks a part-time Hotel General Maintenance Technician to support hotel operations. You will handle electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general facilities maintenance to ensure guest areas and back-of-house spaces remain functional.

Ideal candidates demonstrate basic maintenance skills, a willingness to work weekends, and a valid driver's license. Compensation is $17 per hour with growth potential in a multi-property portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Previous hotel maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
• Weekend availability.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Strong knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Deadline, detail and customer service-oriented.
• Ability to interpret written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintains electrical systems (replacing light bulbs, ballast, outlets, switches).
• Maintains heating, plumbing and HVAC systems; preventative maintenance including air handler coils cleaning and filter/belt replacement.
• Performs general upkeep (landscaping, painting, carpentry, appliances, drywall, windows, etc.).
• Performs manual repairs when necessary.
• Keeps the pool clean and up to safety standards.
• Reports unsafe conditions to Management.
• Performs preventative maintenance throughout property including guest rooms, public spaces, kitchen, restaurant, storage, and office areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
