Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Team Member to maintain and repair hotel building infrastructure, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry. This role emphasizes preventative maintenance, safety, and guest satisfaction.

You will document work, follow security procedures, and be prepared to cross-train across the department. Strong English communication and the ability to work flexible shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Some college preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify maintenance and repair issues and initiate work orders.
• Report and follow up on maintenance deficiencies.
• Complete work orders and all necessary assigned repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain mechanical logs.
• Resolve guest problems and handle guest requests promptly per hotel standards.
• Complete duty rounds checklists and correct noted problems.
• Use office equipment, EMS system and Life Safety Systems (training provided).
• Be cross-trained in all aspects of the department.
