Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Team Member to perform upkeep of hotel buildings and infrastructure, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry. You will ensure preventive maintenance, complete work orders, and support guest satisfaction through timely repairs.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work with various systems, and willingness to be cross-trained across the department. High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent is required. Some college preferred.
• Preferred 1 year related experience or training.
• Must be able to work well in team environment

Responsibilities

• Identify maintenance and repair issues and initiate work orders.
• Report and follow up on maintenance deficiencies.
• Complete work orders and all necessary assigned repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain mechanical logs.
• Resolve guest problems and handle guest requests per hotel standards.
• Complete duty rounds checklists and correct noted problems.
• Responsible for correct use of EMS system and Life Safety Systems; training provided.
• Willing to be cross-trained in all aspects of the department.
• Carry out policies and procedures set forth by the Center.
• Initiate and maintain effective communication with operational areas.
