Courtyard By Marriott Salisbury is seeking a Maintenance Associate on a part-time basis (24 hours) to maintain guest areas and heart of the hotel, performing preventive maintenance and repairs to meet quality standards. Responsibilities include following safety guidelines, troubleshooting electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repairs, assisting guests with issues, and documenting work orders.

The role requires punctuality, professionalism, and ability to work varied hours including holidays

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in a branded, quality hotel preferred.
• Working knowledge of electricity, AC, and plumbing with preventive maintenance knowledge.
• Must display professionalism and have honesty and trustworthiness.
• Must have excellent attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility using consistent preventative maintenance guidelines.
• Perform tasks: preventative maintenance, repairs, and documentation.
• Maintains rooms and equipment in optimal operating condition.
• Familiar with life safety systems and rectifying issues affecting safety/operations.
• Handle master keys per policy for site security.
• Report hazards or injuries promptly and take corrective action.
