Job summary

Ivy Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help keep our hotel facilities safe, functional, and welcoming. This hands-on role covers public areas, guest rooms, and back-of-house spaces, with a focus on preventative maintenance and timely repairs.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of maintenance experience, basic skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, and the ability to use tools safely. Flexible scheduling including weekends is required.

Qualifications

• One year of general maintenance or facilities experience; hotel experience a plus.
• Proficient in basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Able to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Able to stand, walk, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
• Lift up to 50 lbs regularly, up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
• Drug test and Motor Vehicle Report required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain routine upkeep across public areas, guest rooms, meeting spaces, and facilities.
• Repair guest room amenities such as TVs, phones, fixtures, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Execute preventative maintenance and daily checks.
• Repair interiors including painting, furniture fixes, and carpet or tile repair.
• Troubleshoot kitchen, laundry, and housekeeping equipment as needed.
• Maintain exteriors, landscaping, and parking areas for a professional look.
• Support pool operations and ensure safety compliance (CPO preferred).
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests to minimize guest disruption.
