Job summary

Ivy Hospitality is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to ensure the hotel operations run smoothly by maintaining facilities and safety standards. The role supports the preventative maintenance program and collaborates with all departments to deliver a high-quality guest experience.

The position requires basic repair skills across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, with the flexibility to work 2-3 shifts per week. Drug testing and MVR may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of general maintenance or facilities management experience; hotel experience is a plus.
• Proficient in basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance across public areas, guest rooms, meeting spaces, back- of-house facilities, and grounds to ensure optimal operation.
• Perform repairs on guest room amenities such as televisions, phones, fixtures, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Execute preventative maintenance programs, including daily equipment checks and scheduled repairs.
• Maintain hotel aesthetics by repairing and refreshing interiors, including painting, furniture fixes, and carpet or tile repairs.
