Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Roanoke is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep the property clean, safe and well‑maintained. You will prioritize management requests and respond to immediate needs to preserve peak operation of the hotel facilities.

You will perform room and building maintenance, grounds care, and equipment upkeep, including plumbing, painting, and minor repairs as needed to ensure guest comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of facility maintenance experience.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Grounds & exterior care: sweep parking lot and maintain landscaping.
• Maintain grounds, pool, exterior woodwork and trim in good repair.
• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on rooms and building features.
• Respond to emergency maintenance needs after hours.
• Ensure safety by keeping walkways clear of ice and snow.
