The role keeps the hotel safe, functional, and guest-ready, with primary focus on building, grounds, and mechanical systems maintenance under safety guidelines.

The successful candidate will perform preventive maintenance, handle guest requests, and assist other engineering staff while maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Clean and professional appearance.
• Ability to communicate clearly (Speaking and writing).
• Ability to utilize basic technology including a smartphone and a computer.
• Experience in maintenance or building trades preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain timelines and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Review work orders and night reports.
• Perform preventive maintenance on laundry and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain guestrooms and public areas.
• Change HVAC filters; check belts and bearings.
• Check HVAC for unusual noise or vibration and adjust as necessary.
• Change or repair locks as needed.
• Assist in all phases of repair work.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Secure and manage assigned keys.
