Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a part-time Maintenance Engineer for a 30-hour work week in Estero, FL. The role focuses on maintaining the hotel property with emphasis on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance on equipment, testing pools, repairing electronic door locks, inspecting facilities, reading blueprints, and maintaining records to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED.
• Two years hotel/resort experience or trade school or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and preventative maintenance on equipment including HVAC, kitchen and laundry equipment, ice machines, plumbing systems, boilers and pumps.
• Change light bulbs, perform vinyl repairs, painting and minor carpentry tasks as needed.
• Test, clean and repair swimming pools and spas.
• Repair and program hotel electronic lock systems and door hardware.
• Inspect interior and exterior areas, document readings, remove debris and report needs.
• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams; understand utility shut-offs for maintenance or emergencies.
• Maintain maintenance records and ensure guest satisfaction through timely service.
• Welcome guests and handle concerns professionally while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain professional appearance and operate radios with staff.
