Job summary

Holiday Inn Express-Orangeburg, operated by Crossroads Hospitality, LLC, seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep hotel facilities, systems, and appliances in top condition and safe for guests.

You will perform routine and preventive maintenance, inspect and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry work, and respond to guest requests promptly. A high school diploma and related maintenance experience are preferred; on-call work and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in hotel or hospitality maintenance preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work.
• Conduct regular inspections and identify repair or upgrade needs.
• Troubleshoot and repair hotel equipment, systems, and structures.
• Maintain exterior areas including landscaping and parking.
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules and document activities.
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Ensure safety compliance with local/state/federal regulations and report hazards.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and front desk to coordinate maintenance needs.
• Other duties as assigned to support property operations.
