Job summary

The Good Hospitality LLC Sleep Inn in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a reliable Hotel Maintenance Person to keep our property in top condition. You will handle preventive maintenance, respond to guest requests, and coordinate with other teams to minimize disruption for a great guest experience.

Qualifications

Previous maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and basic carpentry
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
Strong attention to detail and commitment to property upkeep standards
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout a shift
Flexible availability including weekends and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive maintenance on hotel rooms, common areas, and building systems
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel staff
Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry issues
Inspect and maintain pool, fitness center, and exterior grounds as needed
Ensure all safety equipment and systems are functional and up to code
Coordinate with housekeeping and front desk teams to minimize guest disruption
Document completed work orders and report recurring or major issues to management
