Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, carpentry and HVAC.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Fix broken items in guest rooms quickly (leaking faucets, broken TVs, jammed doors).
• Inspect and service heating, cooling, plumbing and electrical systems for preventive upkeep.
• Paint walls, fix drywall, patch furniture and replace burnt-out light bulbs.
• Answer urgent calls from the front desk or guests to fix sudden breakdowns.
• Follow safety rules, use safety lockouts, and log all completed work tasks.
• Provide professional and polite communication around hotel guests.
