Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Montgomeryville, PA, is seeking a diligent Facilities Technician to support maintenance of guest rooms and common areas. You will perform preventive tasks, respond to equipment alarms, and assist with repairs across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and housekeeping areas.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to work in a hotel environment. Experience in hospitality maintenance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed in a trade preferred (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
• Must have a valid driver’s license for the applicable state.
• Must have an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record) per property.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operation, maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Change out light bulbs and perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms (vinyl repair, touch up paint, minor furniture repair, tub caulking, tile repairs).
• Perform preventative maintenance for ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, HVAC, guestrooms, meeting rooms, pool and spa areas.
