Job summary

Hyatt Place Mt. Laurel is seeking a Maintenance Person to support high-quality guest service.

The role covers maintenance across guest suites, meeting spaces, pool and public areas, with a focus on preventative care and repairs to mechanical, electrical, kitchen and laundry equipment. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of building maintenance experience, hotel experience preferred, and must be able to work AM/PM shifts, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• One year of building maintenance experience required.
• Hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• Must be able to work AM/PM shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English clearly.
• Ability to learn quickly and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be 18 years or older; high school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to lift, pull and push up to 20 lbs.
• Basic computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Maintain guest suites, meeting spaces, swimming pool and front-of-house areas.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs.
• Repair mechanical, electrical, kitchen and laundry equipment as needed.
