Job summary

Colwen Management Inc in Lebanon, NH is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join Hilton Garden Inn Lebanon. You will repair, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems throughout the hotel.

Ideal candidates have prior maintenance experience, knowledge of guest interactions, ability to work with little supervision, and a willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a 7-day rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance or related experience; hotel experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of kitchen and refrigeration equipment preferred.
• Working knowledge of fire protection and life safety systems preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Able to interact with guest in a friendly way.
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain high performance.
• Ability to learn new computer software and operate the property management system.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned locations, including plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling, basic carpentry, and building systems
• Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair
• Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repair
• Plan repair work using blueprints or equipment manuals as needed
• Perform general repairs that do not require a specialized technician (e.g., drywall, painting, doors, locks, building fixtures)
• Perform routine maintenance of building systems and preventative maintenance programs
• Adhere to Colwen and brand standards
• Work with supervisor to identify and complete technical projects
• Respond timely to all work orders
• Assist with House person / Shuttle Driver duties as needed
• Maintain building exterior (snow removal, lawn care, painting)
• Perform other related duties as assigned
