Job summary

North Conway Grand Hotel is seeking a Maintenance Person to join our team and keep guest areas and back-of-house facilities in prime condition. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment, and respond to guest requests with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of general building maintenance or equivalent in a trade profession.
• Physical demands require extended walking, standing, bending, lifting, twisting and kneeling.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests from guests and staff; prioritize based on urgency.
• Inspect building systems (fire alarms, emergency lighting, elevators, generators) for safety compliance.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Coordinate with contractors for emergency repairs and major renovations.
• Assist with renovations and equipment upgrades to enhance guest experience.
