Job summary

Ascent Hospitality’s Hampton Inn Lebanon, IN is seeking a dependable Maintenance Worker to join the Engineering Team. You’ll help keep the hotel safe, clean, and well-functioning for guests and staff, with a hands-on, problem-solving approach.

Typical duties include routine and preventative maintenance, responding to requests and emergencies, and assisting with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs while supporting property improvements and Hilton brand standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, emergencies, and guest needs.
• Assist with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building repairs.
• Inspect and maintain guest rooms, public areas, fitness areas, indoor pool areas, back-of-house areas, and exterior spaces.
• Repair and maintain doors, locks, fixtures, furniture, lighting, appliances, and hotel equipment.
• Complete assigned maintenance work orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist the Engineering team with preventative maintenance inspections and scheduled projects.
• Maintain maintenance tools, equipment, supplies, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Communicate maintenance concerns, safety issues, and equipment problems to the Engineering leadership team.
• Assist with property improvement projects, repairs, inspections, and renovations as needed.
• Support outside vendors and contractors while working on hotel property.
• Assist with maintaining the indoor pool, fitness center, guest areas, and other hotel facilities in good working condition.
• Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, accountability, and exceptional service.
• Help ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, safety requirements, and company policies.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning property that exceeds guest expectations.
