Job summary

Element by Marriott North Charleston is seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, perform preventative maintenance, and service the pool while addressing guest maintenance requests.

You should have at least 1 year in a maintenance role, hold a valid driver’s license, and be self‑directed to work independently. The position offers competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth within Hospitality

Qualifications

1 year in a maintenance role preferred (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work).
Valid Driver’s License.
Self-directed and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning electrical/mechanical systems and equipment.
Review maintenance problems, complaints, and work orders to prioritize and schedule work assignments.
Proactively inspect property to identify potential and current needs.
Plan and execute ongoing appropriate maintenance programs.
Service the hotel’s pool, including adjusting chemicals and cleaning filters.
Perform preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis.
Maintain the building exterior.
Listen and respond to guests’ maintenance requests.
