Job summary

Drury Plaza Hotel - 140 Jake Thomas Road, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee 37863 is hiring a Maintenance Technician I to uphold a safe, well-maintained property and grounds. The role includes repairing plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment and HVAC, plus light carpentry and coating work.

You will ensure safe operations, keep records, train junior team members, and collaborate with management to meet department needs while contributing to a welcoming guest experience.

Qualifications

• Advanced maintenance knowledge and skills.
• Ability to dismantle equipment to repair or replace components.
• Knowledge of pool maintenance including water chemistry & testing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, smooth-running hotel property and grounds.
• Complete repairs and preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment and HVAC.
• Perform light carpentry, painting, vinyl and drywall repair.
• Implement and monitor safety programs compliant with regulations.
• Keep detailed records and reports.
• Provide ongoing training to Maintenance Tech I team members.
• Collaborate with management to recruit for department needs.
• Contribute to guest experience with courteous, friendly service.
