Crescent Hotels & Resorts in Evanston, IL is seeking a hotel maintenance technician to perform general maintenance and uphold the property's quality standards across all guest areas and back‑of‑house spaces.

The role involves preventive maintenance, basic electrical and plumbing repairs, furniture refurbishing, pool maintenance, and assisting with building exterior upkeep while delivering courteous guest service.

Qualifications

Must have the ability to communicate in English.
Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
Able to lift 25–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

Assist with preventative maintenance and complete work orders to maintain quality.
Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on electrical, plumbing and fixtures.
Maintain pool area, chemicals, and filters as required.
Refurbish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms when needed.
Support exterior upkeep including snow removal, lawn care and painting.
Assist in major repairs of hotel equipment under supervision.
Respond courteously to guest questions and requests to ensure satisfaction.
Operate within safety policies and report hazards promptly.
Maintain attendance and be available to work as scheduled.
Document maintenance work and logs as required.
Collaborate with team to ensure smooth hotel operations.
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
