Job summary

Hotel Yountville is seeking an Engineer II to keep the property in top condition. You will repair, inspect and maintain utilities, equipment and facilities, with duties spanning plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and more.

The role requires prior maintenance experience in hotels, ability to read blueprints, operate hand tools, and work a schedule that may include nights, weekends and holidays. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar capacity is a must.
• At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair, inspect and maintain utility services, inventory, and tools.
• Repair items across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and more.
• Read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Test boilers and record readings.
• Repair hotel electronic lock systems.
• Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records.
• Ensure work complies with local, state, and federal codes.
• Repair and maintain pools and spas.
• Attend required meetings and trainings.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
