Job summary

Moody National Management is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for Aloft Austin Round Rock in Round Rock, TX. The role focuses on maintaining hotel assets to ensure safe, efficient operations and guest comfort.

You will perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems; handle work orders; assist guests with requests; and support safety procedures. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry knowledge required.
• Ability to read and understand written operating instructions and work orders.
• Strong time management and multi-tasking skills; team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and guest rooms; repair and replace components as needed.
• Complete maintenance work orders, take readings, and maintain logs per hotel policy.
• Address guest requests/complaints courteously and efficiently to ensure satisfaction.
• Clean and maintain department equipment and work areas; ensure tidy workspaces.
• Inspect hotel property on schedule to ensure everything operates correctly; report inventory usages and shortages.
• Respond to emergencies (fire alarms, power failures) and coordinate with authorities per procedures.
• Identify safety hazards and report to management; assist with elevator maintenance and parking area upkeep.
