Job summary

Sage Restaurant Group seeks a Maintenance Technician for Embassy Suites Boulder to respond to guest and hotel maintenance requests, perform preventative maintenance, and handle basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and painting tasks. Work with Engineering to keep the property safe, clean, and well maintained, with opportunities built around hotel, apartment, facilities, and other related experience.

The role is full-time, on-site in Boulder, CO, offering competitive pay DOE and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hotel, apartment, facilities, construction or general maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting and general repairs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable using radios, completing work orders and maintaining logs.
• Valid driver's license preferred for snow removal equipment and company vehicle use.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest and hotel maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs throughout the hotel.
• Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC and equipment troubleshooting.
• Help maintain guest rooms, public spaces, kitchen, laundry and back-of-house areas.
• Complete daily work orders and document repairs completed.
• Perform routine property walks to ensure hotel remains safe and well maintained.
• Communicate with team members by radio during shift.
• Respond appropriately to emergency or safety situations when needed.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Report unsafe conditions or repair concerns to leadership.
