Embassy Suites by Hilton Denver Downtown seeks a Maintenance Technician 1 to join our engineering team. This role focuses on performing maintenance and repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry while ensuring guest comfort and safety in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required, plus two years of trade school or equivalent training.
• Minimum four years of experience in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry or building maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, refrigeration, electrical systems, boilers, and allied trades.

Responsibilities

• Carry a portable radio and respond to engineering service calls.
• Perform maintenance and repairs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and related areas.
• Respond to and handle guest requests in a courteous, safe manner.
• Maintain hotel equipment and complete preventive maintenance.
• Monitor and document maintenance activities and log parts used.
