Job summary

Sage Hospitality Group is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a hotel in Boulder, CO. The role involves responding to guest and hotel maintenance requests, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks.

This is a full-time on-site position with opportunities to work across hotel properties. Candidates with hotel, apartment, facilities, construction, or general maintenance experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting and general repairs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest and hotel maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs throughout the hotel.
• Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Help maintain guest rooms, public spaces, kitchen, laundry, and back-of-house areas.
• Complete daily work orders and document repairs completed.
• Perform routine property walks to ensure the hotel remains safe and well maintained.
• Report unsafe conditions or repair concerns to leadership.

Come join our Engineering / Maintenance team! We are looking for someone dependable, hands-on, and motivated to help maintain our hotel properties. This is a great opportunity for candidates with hotel, apartment, facilities, construction, or general maintenance experience.

This position assists with:

Guest room repairs

Preventative maintenance

Basic plumbing, electrical, and painting

HVAC and mechanical troubleshooting

General building upkeep

Responding to guest maintenance requests

Hotel maintenance experience is preferred but not required.

Job Overview

Respond to guest and hotel maintenance requests in a timely manner while helping maintain the property in a safe, clean, and efficient condition. This position works closely with the Engineering team to complete preventative maintenance, repairs, and daily upkeep throughout the hotel.

• Communicate with team members by radio throughout the shift
• Respond appropriately to emergency or safety situations when needed
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Report unsafe conditions or repair concerns to leadership

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous hotel, apartment, facilities, construction, or general maintenance experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and general repairs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable using radios, completing work orders, and maintaining logs
• Valid driver’s license preferred for snow removal equipment and company vehicle use

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the property during shifts
• Ability to lift and carry maintenance equipment and supplies as needed
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders when needed
