Job summary

Embassy Suites Boulder is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our hotel’s engineering team. The role handles guest and hotel maintenance requests, executes preventative care, and maintains guest rooms and public areas.

HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting tasks are routine, with emphasis on safety and efficiency. The position is full-time, on-site, offering Hilton discounts, free meal benefits, and other perks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in hotel, apartment, facilities or general maintenance preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting and general repairs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable using radios, completing work orders, and maintaining logs.
• Valid driver's license preferred for snow removal equipment and company vehicle use.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest and hotel maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs throughout the hotel.
• Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Help maintain guest rooms, public spaces, kitchen, laundry, and back-of-house areas.
• Complete daily work orders and document repairs completed.
• Perform routine property walks to ensure the hotel remains safe and well maintained.
• Communicate with team members by radio throughout the shift.
• Respond appropriately to emergency or safety situations when needed.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Report unsafe conditions or repair concerns to leadership.
