Job summary

Maine Course Hospitality Group is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to support daily hotel operations by completing repairs and preventive maintenance. You will ensure all systems and equipment are in excellent working order, keeping guests safe and comfortable.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, building operations, or facilities experience preferred (hotel experience a plus).
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to diagnose and repair.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform physical labor.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends or evenings.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily general maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Complete routine preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, equipment, and appliances.
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests and guest service needs.
• Maintain property safety by inspecting and repairing locks, doors, alarms, lighting, and other safety systems.
• Assist with pool/spa operations and equipment maintenance (if applicable).
• Coordinate repairs with the General Manager and prioritize tasks.
• Maintain logs, reports, and documentation of completed work.
• Monitor supply inventory and communicate needs for tools and parts.
