Job summary

Maine Course Hospitality Group in Salem, MA is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are well maintained and safe. You will perform repairs, routine preventive maintenance, and respond to guest service needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel maintenance or facilities preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor
• Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and repair issues
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Strong communication skills and guest-focused approach

Responsibilities

• Perform daily general maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
• Complete routine preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, equipment, and appliances
• Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance requests and guest service needs
• Maintain property safety by inspecting and repairing locks, doors, alarms, lighting, and other safety systems
• Assist with pool/spa operations (if applicable), including chemical testing and equipment maintenance
• Maintain logs and reports of completed work and monitor inventory of tools and parts
