Club Quarters, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform room and property maintenance across guest rooms and public areas.

You will handle electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met for a superior guest experience. Responsibilities include responding to maintenance requests, performing preventive maintenance, and communicating clearly with guests and staff.

• Guest Room Maintenance: Replace light bulbs and repair lighting issues.
• Guest Room Maintenance: Repair peeling or damaged wall coverings and perform touch-up painting.
• Guest Room Maintenance: Unclog sinks, toilets, and shower drains and repair sink stoppers.
• Guest Room Maintenance: Troubleshoot televisions, telephones, and other guest room equipment.
• Guest Room Maintenance: Diagnose thermostat and HVAC malfunctions.
• Guest Room Maintenance: Repair or replace showerheads and shower mixing valves.
• Guest Room Maintenance: Repair chips, scratches, and damage to furniture and woodwork.
• Guest Room Maintenance: Replace door lock batteries and troubleshoot faulty locks.
• Guest Room Maintenance: Repair window treatments and other room fixtures.
• Guest Room Maintenance: Address miscellaneous guest room maintenance needs.
• Public Areas and Back-of-House Maintenance: Maintain lobby, Member Service Desk, Club Room, guest corridors, fitness center, and other public areas.
• Public Areas and Back-of-House Maintenance: Maintain Housekeeping areas, employee changing rooms, offices, and other back-of-house spaces.
• Public Areas and Back-of-House Maintenance: Address normal wear and tear, including painting, lighting, plumbing, and minor repairs.
• Public Areas and Back-of-House Maintenance: Report larger repairs or safety concerns to the Maintenance Manager.
• Equipment Inspections and Preventive Maintenance: Complete the Equipment Status Checklist each shift.
• Equipment Inspections and Preventive Maintenance: Monitor equipment for proper operation, temperatures, leaks, unusual noises, and other concerns.
• Equipment Inspections and Preventive Maintenance: Make necessary adjustments within the scope of training and authorization.
• Equipment Inspections and Preventive Maintenance: Report equipment deficiencies to the Maintenance Manager.
• Equipment Inspections and Preventive Maintenance: Complete assigned preventive maintenance, including quarterly guest room HVAC filter replacements and shower mixing valve inspections.
• Equipment Inspections and Preventive Maintenance: Assist with maintaining accurate preventive maintenance records.
• Boiler and Cooling Tower Maintenance: Perform daily chemical testing of boilers and cooling towers as assigned.
• Boiler and Cooling Tower Maintenance: Monitor chemical levels and make adjustments in accordance with established procedures, training, and authorization.
• Boiler and Cooling Tower Maintenance: Report abnormal readings and equipment concerns to the Maintenance Manager.
• Fire and Life Safety: Maintain knowledge of the hotel's fire prevention equipment, emergency procedures, and evacuation protocols.
• Fire and Life Safety: Respond appropriately to emergencies and assist guests and employees as needed.
• Fire and Life Safety: Report fire and life safety deficiencies immediately.
• Work Orders and Communication: Respond to maintenance calls promptly and prioritize guest-related issues.
• Work Orders and Communication: Ensure completed work orders are documented and closed in a timely manner.
• Work Orders and Communication: Notify the appropriate departments when repairs are completed.
• Work Orders and Communication: Leave maintenance completion cards in occupied guest rooms to inform guests that their concerns have been addressed.
• Work Orders and Communication: Communicate unresolved repairs, parts needed, and follow-up requirements to the Maintenance Manager.
• Guest Service and Reputation Management: Provide courteous, professional service during all guest interactions.
