Job summary

Tru/ Home2 Suites by Hilton Flagstaff is seeking a Building Maintenance Assistant to support hotel operations on site. The role starts at $22/hour, with higher wages possible for experienced candidates, and requires availability for am/pm shifts, weekends and holidays.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of hotel maintenance or relevant building maintenance experience, and possess general knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building construction.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of hotel maintenance experience or relevant building maintenance experience.
• Must be able to work am or pm, weekends and holidays.
• General knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building construction.
• Ability to perform task-oriented repetitive functions consistently, on-time and error free.

Responsibilities

• Performs guest room preventative maintenance duties such as painting, battery replacement, smoke detector checks and HVAC cleaning.
• Maintains the grounds, landscaping, outbuildings and parking areas in a clean, neat, safe and attractive manner.
• Assists in maintaining pool, spa and general area of the property according to specific local codes and brand standards.
• Promptly responds to reports of guest problems and concerns.
