Job summary

White Lodging is seeking a General Maintenance Technician for the Westin Milwaukee Downtown to support the hotel’s engineering team in maintaining appearance, functionality, and safety to meet brand and guest standards.

Compensation starts at $22.00 per hour. You will perform carpentry, plumbing, painting, and general upkeep, assist the Chief Engineer, and help ensure reliable operations across the property.

Qualifications

• One year of maintenance experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Availability evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hotel appearance, functionality, and safety to meet standards.
• Assist Chief Engineer in supervising all Engineering activities.
• Clean and maintain engineering areas and manage supplies.
• Inspect fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation.
• Carry out tasks safely and professionally and communicate with supervisors.
