Job summary

First Hospitality seeks a Maintenance Engineer to support the Cambria Milwaukee Downtown. The role focuses on proactive upkeep, safe operation of tools, and guest‑centered service.

You’ll diagnose and repair building systems, respond to routine challenges, and collaborate with hotel teams to maintain high standards. Qualifications include 2+ years in maintenance (hotel preferred), a high school diploma or equivalent, and electrical/plumbing certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel or similar facility.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively maintain the physical building structure, building systems, and equipment.
• Complete grounds and custodial work as needed.
• Perform repairs including plumbing, painting, carpentry, sheetrock, and electrical work.
• Prioritize repairs that impact guest experience.
• Communicate with hotel departments to ensure timely responses.
• Assist guests and departments during emergencies.
