Atrium Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support operations at the Des Moines Sheraton. This on-site role focuses on preventative maintenance, guest roomcare, and timely work-order completion to ensure guest satisfaction.

The role requires general maintenance experience, physical ability to lift and move loads, and the potential for HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing certifications. Atrium offers growth opportunities, health coverage, and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of general maintenance experience required; hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to bend, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods.
• HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care.
• Complete and document guest and associate work orders.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Maintain, clean, and adjust pool systems and chemicals.
• Repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment such as laundry, kitchen, and small appliances.
• Perform seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties.
• Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment.
