Job summary

Atrium Hospitality is hiring a Hotel Maintenance Technician at the Des Moines Sheraton in Des Moines, IA to perform preventative maintenance and guest/associate work orders on-site. You will troubleshoot electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, maintain pool systems and chemicals, and repair hotel equipment in a dynamic hotel setting.

The role requires at least 6 months of maintenance experience (hotel experience preferred) with the possibility of certifications; lifting up to 50 lbs and standing

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of general maintenance experience required.
• Hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care.
• Complete and document guest and associate work orders.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• Maintain, clean, and adjust pool systems and chemicals.
• Repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment such as laundry, kitchen, and small appliances.
• Perform seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties.
• Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment.
