Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read & write in English, perform mathematical computations such as adding, multiplying.
• Ability to effectively communicate with guests, utilizing tact & diplomacy and solve practical problems.
• General Skills: knowledge and experience of general carpentry, exterior finishing, interior finishing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, FF&E, landscaping, and information systems technology.

Responsibilities

• Seek opportunities to exceed guest and team member’s expectations.
• Maintain an efficient preventive maintenance schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly).
• Maintain filing system for preventive maintenance tasks and inspections; document compliant and non-compliant actions.
• Maintain an efficient schedule for inspections with proper filing for all actions.
• Maintain an emergency action plan and safety protocols in NC OSHA compliance.
• Maintain inventory control for general maintenance supplies and tools.
• Support a budget control system and coordination with contractors and suppliers.
• Help train engineering technicians and track work orders.
• Coordinate communication and logistics for work affecting other departments.
