Job summary

My Place Hotels of America in Fort Pierre, SD, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our property running smoothly and safely. You will handle work orders, preventative maintenance, and record-keeping to support guest comfort and staff operations.

This part-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00 to 2:00, competitive pay of $17–$19 per hour, direct deposit, and growth potential through cross-training within the maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills to manage maintenance records.
• Excellent written and spoken communication with guests, staff, and vendors.
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational abilities to handle maintenance tasks efficiently.

• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills across electrical, plumbing, and general repairs.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders daily and respond quickly to maintenance requests.
• Execute preventative maintenance for interior and exterior areas.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
• Maintain all mechanical areas (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, infrastructure) in a safe, orderly, clean condition.
• Ensure maintenance work is completed efficiently and to high standards.
