Job summary

Charming Inns of Charleston is seeking a dedicated property maintenance technician to join our hotel and restaurant team in downtown Charleston. The role focuses on day-to-day upkeep and repairs across our Wentworth Mansion, John Rutledge House Inn, Kings Courtyard Inn and Fulton Lane Inn, with partnerships across vendors and management.

Ideal candidates will have experience in HVAC, plumbing, basic electrical and carpentry, and can perform preventative and general maintenance.

Qualifications

• Qualified candidates must have experience in HVAC, plumbing, basic electrical and basic carpentry.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and repairs as well as general maintenance.
• Excellent communication with guests, co-workers and vendors.
• Must be available to work 10 a.m.–6 p.m including weekends and on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day upkeep and repairs on downtown Charleston hotels.
• Interact with property staff, corporate management and vendors.
• Collaborate on maintenance projects across Wentworth Mansion, John Rutledge House Inn, Kings Courtyard Inn and Fulton Lane Inn.
