Job summary

Charming Inns Inc. in Charleston seeks a dedicated property maintenance technician to support our downtown hotels and restaurants, including the Wentworth Mansion, John Rutledge House Inn, Kings Courtyard Inn, Fulton Lane Inn, and related projects.

The role requires experience in HVAC, plumbing, basic electrical and carpentry, with a strong focus on preventative maintenance, professional guest communication, and weekend availability. Parking is provided for employees.

Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, basic electrical and basic carpentry.
• Able to perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Communicate professionally with guests, co-workers and vendors.
• Available to work Saturdays and weekends.
• Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day upkeep and repairs on downtown Charleston hotels.
• Interact with property level employees, corporate management and vendors.
• Complete assigned special projects.
• Assist with maintenance planning and safety compliance.
