Job summary

Westmont Hospitality Group is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair the hotel's mechanical/electrical systems and ensure the physical plant, pool, and grounds are well-kept.

The role requires performing preventative tasks, responding to maintenance requests, adhering to safety policies, and coordinating with engineering and other departments to deliver a positive guest experience. Shifts vary, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair routine hotel system malfunctions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to interact with guests.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis for hotel systems.
• Service the pool, adjust chemicals, and log maintenance requests.
• Maintain exterior grounds and curb appeal.
• Follow safety, security, and company policies.
