Job summary

EOS Hospitality is seeking an Engineer to operate, maintain, service and repair hotel equipment. You will complete maintenance requests across departments and assist with cosmetic upkeep and other engineering tasks according to hotel standards.

Responsibilities include responding to guest repair requests, performing preventative maintenance, managing inventory, and documenting daily activities for shift communication, with a focus on safety and quality service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; 1–2 years of general repair experience preferred, ideally in hospitality.
• Ability to interpret manufacturers' literature for installation and upkeep.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to guidelines to ensure health, safety and comfort of guests and team members.
• Respond to guest repair requests and resolve issues with minimal supervision.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Maintain inventory and requisition parts as needed for repairs.
• Document daily activities and communicate problems across shifts.
• Perform structural and cosmetic repairs such as painting, patching and carpentry as assigned.
