• Conduct monthly safety inspections to maintain compliance with local safety codes.
• Assemble and set up machinery or equipment as needed.
• Do general cleaning and upkeep of the building and exterior of the property.
• Order supplies, parts, and other items as necessary.
• Meet with vendors to estimate repairs and costs.
• Train staff on safety and emergency procedures.
• Keep detailed work records, including equipment and workmanship warranties.
• Assist staff with deep cleaning projects as instructed.
• Assist with other projects as necessary.

Job description

The Maintenance Engineer maintains the overall operation of the hotel and equipment. The Maintenance Engineer conducts regularly scheduled preventative actions, responds to emergencies, and works with management to suggest and execute special projects or improvements. He/she also maintains the exterior of the building, parking lot, and common areas.
