Job summary

Hhs, Llc in Madison, Wisconsin is seeking a reliable Temporary Hotel Maintenance Technician to support our facilities team during a high-demand period. You will perform routine repairs in guest rooms and public areas, address work orders promptly, and ensure safety and comfort for guests.

The role requires 1–3 years of general maintenance experience, with basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and hardware repair skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work an 8-hour shift is expected.

Qualifications

• Basic working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and general hardware repair.
• Strong customer service skills to interact politely with guests during in-room repairs.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks with safety and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• General repairs: fix leaks, unclog drains, replace fixtures and switches.
• Room maintenance: address guest room work orders and fix furniture or locks.
• HVAC & appliances: troubleshoot PTAC units, mini-fridges and common hotel appliances.
• Safety & compliance: follow OSHA and hotel safety protocols; keep exits clear.
