Job summary

Ascent Hospitality owns and operates a premier Marriott property in Huntsville and is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join the Engineering Team. You will help maintain a safe, efficient guest environment and support daily hotel operations with hands-on preventive maintenance and repairs.

The role reports to the Chief Engineer and offers opportunities to develop skills in a high-profile, guest-facing environment at a top-tier hotel by the U.S. Space & Rocket Center.

Responsibilities

• Proactively perform preventive maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel.
• Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and guest needs.
• Assist in maintaining safe, clean, and well-functioning property.

Job description

Position/Role: Hotel Maintenance Technician

Salary Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour (Compensation is commensurate with experience, qualifications, and overall background).

This is a full-service Marriotthotel located directly by the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, part of Ascent Hospitality, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering Team.

This position reports directly to the Chief Engineer and plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Engineering Department while helping maintain a safe, efficient, and exceptional guest environment.
