Job summary

LRC2 Properties is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our hotel team in Flowood, MS. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, ensuring guest comfort and safety.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent with general maintenance experience, ability to read manuals/diagrams, and strong troubleshooting skills. Flexibility for weekends/holidays, background check, and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification a plus.
  • Proven experience in general maintenance, facility repair, or related field
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Must pass background check and have reliable transportation

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
  • Respond promptly to guest service requests for maintenance issues
  • Inspect and maintain building systems including safety equipment and emergency lighting
  • Perform preventative maintenance on hotel equipment and systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems and equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas and maintenance shop
  • Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal or landscaping
  • Work with contractors and vendors as needed for specialized repairs
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance logs
  • Ensure compliance with hotel safety and security procedures
