BENCHMARK in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Maintenance Engineer responsible for general maintenance of the hotel’s mechanical and electrical systems. Job description

Position Overview

Maintenance Engineer – responsible for the general maintenance of the hotel’s mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems. The role includes installations, repairs, painting, wall, tile, and preventive maintenance program upkeep. Work closely with team members and guests to ensure a flawless maintenance environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Repair appliances, house wiring, air conditioning units, switches, fixtures, and motors.
  • Fix plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and sanitary systems.
  • Repair woodwork, wall vinyl, doors, windows, carpeting, and other finishings.
  • Maintain mechanical systems on pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and other miscellaneous equipment.
  • Keep accurate logs and records of completed tasks in accordance with company policy.
  • Prepare and submit reports to supervisors in a timely manner.
  • Work a variety of shifts, including day, swing, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications

  • Knowledge of carpentry, electrical, and plumbing repairs.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a welcoming personality.
  • Passion for creating an exceptional guest experience.
  • Ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push and pull throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: $27 per hour. Shift availability: day or swing shifts.

Full‑time Benefits:
