Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality in Wesley Chapel, FL, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our hotel team. The role covers installation, maintenance, and repair of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general facilities upkeep.

You will log tasks, coordinate with teams, and ensure safety and guest comfort. A background in hotel or resort maintenance and the ability to work varied shifts including weekends is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair woodwork, doors, windows, carpeting, and wall surfaces.
• Maintain and service equipment such as pumps, compressors, water heaters.
• Keep records, logs, and prepare reports as requested.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Person to join our team as a Maintenance Engineer. This individual will perform a variety of maintenance trade functions including the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment, HVAC, painting, wall repair, tile work and upkeep of the resort/hotel's preventative maintenance program.

Your Role

• Perform general maintenance of building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Perform general electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring and air conditioning systems, switches, fixtures and motors.
• Make repairs on plumbing fixtures, piping, drains and sanitary systems.
• Make repairs to woodwork, wall vinyl, doors and windows, carpeting, etc.
• Perform general mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and other miscellaneous equipment.
• Keep records as required by company policy and procedures. Maintain logs on completed tasks. Prepare reports as requested by supervisors. Submit all requested reports/logs in a timely manner.
