Job summary

Hotel Indigo in Silverthorne, CO is seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Technician to sustain hotel facilities and assets to high quality standards. You will troubleshoot and repair equipment (HVAC, electrical), perform preventative maintenance, and assist with coordinating maintenance tasks and staff while operating within the hotel budget.

Responsibilities include complying with health and safety policies, inspecting mechanical systems, maintaining inventory, and assisting other engineers.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years maintenance or engineering experience, preferably in a hotel.
• Experience in hotel engineering or similar maintenance in large facilities.
• Ability to read prints, schematics and equipment operations instructions.
• Must be fluent in English and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Fire Safety policies.
• Develop and follow action plans from technical visits and audits.
• Operate and maintain hotel mechanical systems; chiller/boiler experience preferred.
• Maintain parts inventory and track manuals, warranties, and service bulletins.
• Assist with work orders and building maintenance tasks to preserve quality.
• Maintain a safe work area and follow safety standards when using tools.
• Adhere to hotel purchasing procedures with nominated suppliers.
• Assist other engineers with repairs and fill out daily paperwork.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
