Job summary

Hotel Indigo is seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Technician to maintain hotel areas and assets to a high quality standard. You will troubleshoot and repair equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and inspect systems as well as operate within the hotel budget.

Responsibilities include maintaining mechanical systems (domestic water, hot water, chilled water, pool) with boiler/chiller experience preferred; coordinating staff and ensuring safety compliance; and assisting with various repairs and

Qualifications

• At least 3 years maintenance or engineering experience, preferably in a hotel establishment.
• Fluent in English; valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Basic reading of prints, schematics, and equipment operation instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Fire Safety policies.
• Develop and follow up action plans from audits and technical visits.
• Operate and maintain hotel mechanical systems (domestic water, hot water, chilled water, pool); boiler/chiller experience preferred.
• Maintain parts inventory and organize stored items; track warranty and service bulletins.
• Assist with building maintenance and complete work orders (ceiling tiles, lighting, patching).
• Handle safe storage and use of tools and equipment; follow safety standards.
