Job summary

Drury Hotels is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to maintain safe, smooth-running hotel property and grounds in our Charlotte area location. You will repair systems across plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, and HVAC, while supporting safety and compliance programs and training of team members.

Flexibility for emergency repairs is important, and you will contribute to an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Advanced maintenance knowledge across multiple systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC).
• Ability to train Maintenance Tech I team members.
• Knowledge of water chemistry, testing, filtration, and mechanical operations.
• Experience implementing programs to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs on plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, light carpentry, painting, and HVAC.
• Develop and monitor safety and compliance programs (ergonomic, emergency response, injury prevention).
• Keep detailed records and reports of maintenance activities.
• Provide ongoing training to Maintenance Tech I team members.
• Collaborate with management to recruit, interview, and schedule for department needs.
• Deliver courteous, guest-focused service and a positive attitude.
