Job summary

Hilton Short Pump Richmond, VA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role involves upkeep of guest rooms, facilities, and systems, ensuring safety and compliance while delivering high guest service standards.

This hands-on position requires a high school diploma (or GED) and may prefer technical training or prior hotel maintenance experience. Weekend/holiday shifts may be required in a bustling hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.; Technical school training or prior hotel/facility maintenance experience is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Guest Room & Facility Upkeep: Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair guest room equipment, furniture, fixtures, and common areas to maintain Hilton standards.
• General Trades & Repairs: Routine building maintenance including drywall, painting, wallpaper, flooring/carpet touch-ups, and door/window fixes.
• Systems Maintenance: Assist with plumbing repairs, HVAC maintenance, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow safety protocols, SDS files, and lockout/tagout procedures; keep maintenance records.
• Team Collaboration: Work with maintenance staff and GM to report issues and keep inventory stocked.
